If you were Snow White would you buy an apple from someone who looks like an old witch? There are lots of delightful times for children to boo and hiss the wicked queen and cheer Snow White during this show.

Snow White is one of the best loved fairy tales, and Upstage Theatre has all the traditional story characters appearing but with this musical comedy troupe's own brand of humour. John Penberthy's original catchy lyrics give toe-tapping songs to enhance this pantomime.

In the inaugural 2002 production, Kirsty-Lee Jones starred as the cute Snow White with new-comer Chris Mayes as the perfect Prince. John Martin played dual roles as hen-pecked King Basil from Barcelona and the ever-lovable Hugo the Huntsman.Georgia Dodd also had a dual role as the Magic Mirror, teaming up with songstress Sue Oldknow as the delightful if somewhat downtrodden "ladies-in-waiting", Fetch and Carry. Deirdre Quinn played the irrepressible Queen Sybil for all she's worth.
